Deps Bullslide – 3.4" Backslide Worm

The Deps Bullslide is a purpose-built backslide bait designed to reach bass hiding where most baits simply can’t. With a weighted front core and balanced body design, the Bullslide naturally slides backward on the fall, allowing you to get deep under cover where pressured fish feel safe.

The flat body slows the fall and helps you detect subtle bites, while the soft material allows the bait to move through cover without hanging up easily. When bass are tucked under docks, overhangs, reeds, or grass edges, the Bullslide gives you a way to put a bait directly in front of them.

Why Anglers Love the Bullslide

  • True Backslide Action – The forward-weighted design causes the bait to glide backward on the fall, perfect for fishing tight cover.

  • Easy to Cast & Control – Balanced specific gravity makes it simple to skip or pitch accurately.

  • Wide Body Design – Slows the fall and helps anglers detect light bites.

  • Soft but Durable – Slides through cover while still delivering strong hook-up ratios.

  • Shrimp & Crayfish Infused – Natural scent encourages bass to hold on longer.

Unique Construction

The Bullslide uses a two-part material system that gives the bait both its action and durability.

The core body contains a heavier front section made from a blend of natural glass, sand, and salt. This forward weight distribution is what creates the signature backslide action.

The outer material, which forms the arms and tail, is an ultra-soft, high-strength plastic without salt. This increases durability and improves hook penetration while protecting the core material.

Subtle Action That Gets Bit

The bellow-style tail and arms act as stabilizers as the bait slides backward. On the fall:

  • The tail flutters naturally

  • The arms vibrate slowly

  • The bait glides into tight cover where bass are hiding

This subtle movement is especially effective for fish that are tucked deep into shade or heavy cover.

How to Fish the Bullslide

Backslide worms are one of the best tools for targeting bass buried in cover.

Cast past your target and allow the bait to slide back toward structure on a slack line. Most bites happen during the fall, so watch your line closely.

If you don’t get a bite, simply lift the bait and let it fall again. The Bullslide allows you to work the same piece of cover repeatedly, which is often what it takes to trigger a strike.

Great for fishing around:

  • Docks

  • Reeds

  • Weed edges

  • Overhanging trees

  • Heavy cover and shade pockets
