Manifold Detail Works first developed the DENIIRO and the PATIINO for targeting monster-size bass at the largest lake in Japan called Lake Biwa which has caught a tie for world record bass (22lb 4oz) in 2009 by one of monster bass chasers, Manabu Kurita. The unique lures have been tested by Kurita and a fellow big bass chaser, Yugo Yamada over and over to land more world-class bass and to come their dreams true.

After a while their leather lures are commonly known by many anglers, another idea came up in them and that they wanted to make a lure mixed with a lipless crankbait and a gliding jointed swimbait. By trail and error, they finally perfected the unique lure patented called the CASTELLNON.
