Fish Magnet GOOBUM 4.5"

The Fish Magnet GOOBUM 4.5", designed by Takuma Hata, is a uniquely shaped soft plastic built to target bass feeding and suspending in the middle of the water column. Developed around changing bass behavior and modern mid-strolling techniques, the GOOBUM combines an unconventional profile with an incredibly responsive action that comes alive with even the slightest movement.

Its distinctive body incorporates a knife tail, forked tail, and side arms, with each appendage designed to grab water and produce subtle vibrations. On the retrieve, these components move independently to create a complex, lifelike action and strong underwater presence—giving the GOOBUM an appearance unlike traditional minnow- or worm-style soft plastics.

The underside of the GOOBUM features a specialized lower section that functions as both a brake and stabilizer when fished weightless, helping the bait maintain a steady, controlled posture without unwanted rolling or wobbling. This section can also accommodate nail weights or rattles, allowing anglers to fine-tune the bait's fall, action, sound, and presentation for different conditions.

When worked aggressively with a jig-stroking presentation, deep joint-like ribs and the additional mass along the underside allow the GOOBUM to produce a powerful, whip-like movement that pushes water and creates an aggressive triggering action.

Made from Fish Magnet's proprietary SAF Material, the GOOBUM incorporates salt, amino acids, and taste and scent attractants. The heavier material also improves casting distance while providing the feel and attraction needed to encourage bass to commit and hold onto the bait.
